About Dan

I am a High School Special Education Teacher with a specialty in emotional and behavior disorders (EBD). Before I worked at the high school, I worked at a middle school, various elementary schools, and a preschool. I have loved working with kids of all ages. I have a post-graduate teaching certificate in Special Education and a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. I like to solve puzzles, whether that be the puzzle of how to motivate a particular student, or how to figure out new strategies in chess, or how to beat an especially difficult boss in a video game. Some of my favorite games include the Final Fantasy series, the Star Ocean series, the Soulsborne series, and World of Warcraft.
