Since Dan's family lives about a 5-hour drive away, we don't see them as often as we'd like, so we decided to surprise Dan's mom with a trip to the Wisconsin Dells this weekend! She knew she was going with her boyfriend but had no idea that we were joining her! Dan's sister and her husband also joined, so it was a whole-family adventure.
On Saturday, we did some shopping, went go karting, mined for gems, saw a magic show, and played at the arcade. On Sunday, we got up close and personal with some fun animals at a wildlife park. It was a quick but eventful trip, and we thought more than once how fun it would be to come back with our future child.
